Insurance

Our goal is to provide quality dentistry to every patient who wants to maintain a healthy smile. We understand that the cost of dental treatment is a challenge for many families, but financial reasons should never be an obstacle to receiving exceptional dental care.

If you are insured, please check the list below for our in-network providers.

  • Aetna
  • Anthem BC/BS
  • Cigna
  • Delta Dental
  • Guardian
  • MetLife

Regardless of your provider, we are happy to file all insurance claims on our patients' behalf. If you don't see your provider listed here, please call us, and a team member will be happy to assist you.

Payment Plans Are Available

If you are uninsured, we will work with your financial needs to provide you with the important dental treatment you need. Our in-office payment plans allow you to spread the cost of treatment over several months, so you have some extra time to pay off the balance. Please feel free to call us for more information about this option.

For patients who require multiple dental procedures, we can help manage the cost by performing your treatment in stages. You can then plan your budget and pay for treatment as you go.

Payment Options

At Rancho Peñasquitos Dental Care, we are pleased to accept cash, checks, and debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

We also work with CareCredit, a convenient way to manage the cost of treatment with customized payment plans. Like a credit card used for healthcare needs, CareCredit allows you to choose a term and monthly amount that fits your budget.

At Rancho Peñasquitos Dental Center, we are committed to helping patients in our community maintain healthy smiles. If you have questions about the cost of dental treatment or would like to schedule an appointment, please call (858) 484-3100.

We want to assure our patients that they can always expect the most comfortable and stress-free dental treatment possible. Dr. Sondhi is pleased to offer sedation dentistry at our San Diego dental office, including nitrous oxide and oral conscious sedation.

Nitrous Oxide Helps You Relax

Nitrous oxide is a gas that we mix with oxygen, and the patient inhales it through a small nose mask. You will feel the effects quickly and experience a warm wave of relaxation as the activity around you fades into the background. The calming effects last as long as we administer the gas, and a team member will monitor you to ensure that you are comfortable.

When treatment’s finished, we turn off the nitrous, so you are breathing pure oxygen. As you do, your head will start to clear, and any drowsy feelings will fade. When you leave our office, you will be clear-headed and able to drive yourself from your appointment.

Oral Conscious Sedation for Deeper Relaxation

With oral conscious sedation, Dr. Sondhi prescribes a sedative that you should take about an hour before your appointment. This timing ensures that when you arrive at our dental office with the help of a designated driver, you will feel calm and relaxed.

The relaxed feeling will last through your appointment, and in some cases, we combine nitrous oxide with oral sedation for a completely stress-free experience. If you choose oral sedation, please be aware that we require you to have someone who can drive you home safely.
