Dr. Pavneet Sondhi
Dr. Pavneet Sondhi attended dental school at DIRDS, India, graduating in 2000. After dental school, she moved to the United States in 2002 and attended New York University College of Dentistry, where she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2007 and was selected to be part of their honors program.
Dr. Sondhi completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program in aesthetics from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Buffalo in 2008 and was awarded best resident. She is very passionate about dentistry and improving her patients’ dental health experience, and taking it to a different level.
Dr. Sondhi obtained extensive training in dental implants from the California Implant Institute and became a Fellow of Implants in 2015 and a Fellow of the international Congress of Oral Implantologist in 2017. She loves performing cosmetic smile makeovers and complete mouth rehabilitation.
Dr. Sondhi is perhaps best acknowledged for her ability to promote proper dental care and hygiene by allaying patient’s dental-related fears and anxieties. She is passionate about dentistry and has committed herself to excellence and leadership, and prides herself on being a quality practitioner.

Dr. Mark Medina
Dr. Mark Medina attended Rockhurst College in Kansas City, Missouri, and was accepted into the early entrance program at the University of Missouri School of Dentistry. After graduating in 1973, he entered the US Navy and was stationed in San Diego for two years.
Before settling in Rancho Peñasquitos in 1980, Dr. Medina spent three years actively developing dental programs for the Native California Indians and had a private practice in Chula Vista, California. Dr. Medina and his wife have four sons and are very active in the community, including Little League baseball and youth soccer.
He is particularly interested in implant dentistry, dental reconstruction, and cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Medina regularly attends many hours of continuing education and maintains membership in the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, San Diego County Dental Society, and the Pacific Academy of Esthetic Dentistry.

I have been in the dental field since 2014, after receiving my associate degree in dental hygiene from Pima Community College School in Tucson, Arizona. My goal is to build strong relationships with my patients and make them feel comfortable during their visits. I enjoy learning and advancing my knowledge in the field of dentistry so that I can provide the best level of care.
During my free time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, dancing, and spending time with my family.

I was born and raised in San Diego, but my journey in the dental industry started three years ago when I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah. I discovered my passion for helping patients understand the importance of dental hygiene and giving them the best experience during their visits. I am satisfied when patients leave with the knowledge they need to feel confident about their smiles.
When I am not in the office, I love to spend time with my parents, travel to new places, and dance.
Jennifer
Registered Dental Assistant
I graduated from Mesa College's Accredited Dental Assisting program in 2007. I also took my board exams in 2007 for my Registered Dental Assistant license and practiced as an RDA from 2007 to 2013.
I have two years of experience in cosmetic dentistry, four years in oral surgery, one year of orthodontics, and several years in general dentistry. I was an OSHA manager for four years and put the utmost importance on infection control. I treat every patient as if they are my family and put their safety first.

I have been in the dental field since 2014 and started working in the front office at Rancho Penasquitos Dental Center in October of 2020.
Originally from New Mexico, I have lived in San Diego for 33 years. I have been married for 26 years and have two children in college.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also love staying active, going to the gym, walking, or anything else that keeps me moving.
